High-quality products come from the rigor and strict requirements of the manufacturing process. O’right production line adopts intelligent automatic production and automated filling system. It is a food-grade filling machine. The filling process is dust-free and pollution-free. It is fully automatic and does not require inspection. In addition to increasing output and reducing manpower, manpower can also meet the requirements of sterility throughout the process, making the process more energy-saving, lower-carbon, and more environmentally friendly. The smart automatic labeling machine can quickly and accurately stick labels to the set position, and can also intelligently identify finished products, minimizing the defective rate.
O’right Green Factory is the first diamond-level low-carbon emission factory in Asia (a total of 5 diamond-level, gold-level Silver, Bronze, Qualified). In order to completely achieve green sustainability, O'Laide spent 180 million yuan to build a green building headquarters in 2012. It took two years to study the land when selecting the land to build the building, observing the sunlight angle and wind direction of the morning sun and the setting sun throughout the year. Understand nature, learn how to live with it, and then decide on the design of green buildings.
Stepping onto O’right 's "Green Building Headquarters", various green ingenuities are hidden inside. The overall green building headquarters is built in compliance with the topography and wind direction, and adopts a wall-less design. More than 60 large trees and more than 10,000 plants are planted to help the base retain water. plants, and coexist with more than 600 frogs. The oncoming welcome staircase has a hollow design that allows the plants below to extend from the staircase. When it rains, it also allows water to reach the pool below, creating an environment-friendly circulation. O’right 's green buildings can save about 20% of electricity consumption (about 36 million yuan) a year, and have more than 60% energy-saving benefits.
Architectural diversion: The building on the left side of the entrance is northeast and slightly more protruding than the building on the right. In winter, the slightly protruding northeastern building can withstand the cold northeast monsoon. In the summer, the building on the right that is slightly retracted can introduce the southwest wind and guide the cool southwest wind into the room to lower the temperature.
Water curtain wall: Process wastewater is transported through the roof water tank and water curtain wall, and is used as a source of water for bathroom flushing, plant watering and ecological ponds.
EARTH ROOM (briefing room): Equipped with an "energy-saving air exchange system" that can automatically detect indoor air quality, automatically replace fresh air, and regulate the environment according to the detected value. It intelligently saves power while also providing suitable environmental quality for personnel.
Low-carbon office: The office is full of environmentally friendly ideas. Large floor-to-ceiling glass windows provide good lighting and ventilation. The eaves extending outside the windows can block the penetration of radiant heat from the glass and reduce the use of air conditioning equipment. The desk is made of mortise-and-tenon joints from acacia trees (one of the tree species with strong carbon absorption capabilities) to inspire sustainable thinking. In addition, each desk is equipped with an independent power management system, which not only protects the equipment, but also saves unnecessary power waste.
Environmental ecological pool: Combined with wastewater treatment, rainwater recycling, and reclaimed water reuse, it creates sprinkler irrigation systems, breeding water, people's livelihood washing and other functions, so that water resources can be continuously circulated and purified, and the maximum value of resources can be maximized. There are farmed fish and frogs in the ecological pond, creating a natural ecological chain for the environment.
Sky Farm: The natural cooling design of pebbles and soil vegetation throughout the area can slow down the heat island effect. The approximately 30 cm thick covering of soil prevents direct sunlight from hitting the floor, effectively lowering the temperature of the building, helping to cool indoors and save air conditioning energy consumption. A bird habitat garden is set up to replicate the habitat of native birds around the Green Building Headquarters, retain native bird habitats, and coexist ecologically with the surrounding environment.
Foot-operated energy-saving water control valve system: Water resources are not easy to obtain in Taiwan. No matter how small the water is, it must be used properly and not wasted. When we turn off the switch after washing our hands, even though it only lasts a few seconds, it still causes a waste of water resources. Orade spends every penny. Move the water switch to your feet. After washing your hands, take your feet away from the water control valve, and the water will not continue to flow out. A small amount adds up to a big sum. In addition to saving water bills, not even a drop of water is lost.
100% PCR consumer products are recycled and remanufactured. "Circular economy" is an important milestone for O’right to implement the concept of sustainability. In order to prevent plastic from falling into the ocean and incinerators, O’right has established an industrial recycling system to fully reuse recycled materials. , connecting bottle factories and resource recycling stations, and cooperating to regenerate the PCR plastic bottle supply chain, reducing carbon emissions by up to 80%; so far in 2017, it has successfully prevented 6 million plastic bottles and plastic presses from falling into streams, seas or incinerators .
In addition to using recycled materials for the bottle, a lot of ingenuity has also been put into the packaging. The cartons are made from raw-colored cartons that comply with FSC forest verification standards. Use cardboard packaging as much as possible to reduce the use of tape. If you want to use tape, use paper tape made of 100% biodegradable natural environmentally friendly paper and use renewable plant-based adhesives to reduce the use of plastic. produce.
In terms of logistics and transportation, O’right adopts "carriage carbon reduction and centralized transportation" to implement green logistics. It sets minimum shipping standards for each order and plans the shortest transportation route to reduce the number of transportation transshipments and reduce the impact of carbon emissions on the environment. Depending on the size of the product, the most appropriate volume of cartons can be selected to effectively utilize the space, reduce the amount of buffer packaging materials, improve the stowage rate of transport vehicles, and effectively reduce the carbon footprint of transportation. At the same time, 80% of the cartons are recycled and reused to achieve a green and virtuous cycle. The logistics pallets are made of recycled 7,300 discarded PET bottle caps, giving full play to the sustainable concept that everything can be used, creating a green footprint to protect the environment and the earth, and implementing green logistics.
O’right "replaces chemicals with agricultural products", insists on natural purity, upholds the spirit of learning from nature, cherishes the earth's limited resources, and finds new value from green agricultural products and waste agricultural raw materials. Chairman of O’right, Ge Wangping, said self-deprecatingly: Due to the popularity of the product, the coffee shells that were originally treated as waste are now becoming more expensive. The company originally planned to develop a whitening product using dates, but did not expect that the skin would become darker and darker after use. Instead, the product was developed into a hair serum to restore the hair color to its original color.
Chairman Ge Wangping is very happy that BAS can visit O’right, because they are both groups that contribute to the earth. He hopes to bring together more groups to change the world TogetherGreener!
After the visit, Chairman Liu thanked Chairman Ge and the team of O’right for their warm reception today. Everyone benefited a lot and admired Chairman Ge’s vision and courage in the past 20 years, bringing O’right to the most unique place in Taiwan. brand status. I believe that O’right has become an influential international brand, and I look forward to having O’right influence more companies and brands in the years to come, encouraging everyone to reduce the burden on the earth and create positive social benefits. Infinitely moved and admired!
For the sake of the earth, let us continue to move forward together on the road to sustainability.
